What did we do during 2022?

The year 2022 was marked by the post-pandemic COVID19, with difficulty we were able to start all the activities, with many novelties mainly focused on the educational field, in alliance with the Government of Venado Tuerto and the Ministry of Social Development of the Province, but it was very difficult to overcome the inertia of COVID, both with the children's and women's programs.

The Government of the Province of Santa Fe invited us once again to participate in the "Prosonut: Social Nutrition Program", but this time we did not deliver food bags as is our custom, but used the funds to prepare meals for families from Monday to Friday, within the CRP Project (Real and Possible Food) which was also developed in partnership with the Social Development Secretariat of the Municipality and the Bayer Foundation. It was a very intense Project, which left many skills installed, although it did not meet all the planned expectations.

We also participated on the Santa Fe+ Program giving training courses to to young adults (16 to 30 years old). The courses were really well received and allowed us to help 70 young adults with their training through a scholarship provided by the province.

We also did a second round of the training for gerontological assistants, in collaboration with the home for the elderly “Santa Ángela”. As for the last edition, it was a big success and we provided official certifications to the students.

We started as planned, with the attention of children from 6 to 12 years of age at CEFIDEN for their medical, physical, sports and nutritional evaluation, with the team formed by our own professionals, supported by the municipality, and in agreement with the kinesiology career of the UGR. A total of 100 children were attended, and several pathologies were detected and referred to the corresponding professionals.

In alliance with the Municipality, we inaugurated the “Manasitos” Nursery School and the School Support Workshop. Two spaces that were very well attended and worked very well.

We actively maintained our link with “Venado Ayuda”, adding blankets, supplies, Christmas items and other collections that, in addition to helping families, served to consolidate the community work network.

The “De Todos” Neighborhood Responsibility Program was promoted with several achievements, the most important, undoubtedly, was the meeting with the Mayor where women and young people presented their concerns and which resulted, after so many years, in the LED Lighting of the Plaza de los Sueños, which changed the appearance and safety of the neighborhood.

Actively continued the Catering Business, improving the quality of the products offered.

We received the visit of the bishop, Monsignor Han, who blessed the facilities, inaugurated the Oratory and spent a fraternal meeting with the families.

We were also visited by the Minister of Social Development of the Province.

We moved forward with the alliances with ICES and the Faculty of Psychology of IUNIR. The group of ICES interns had an active participation with the children.

We went on several cultural outings with the children, who also participated in sports events organized through the Sports Camps. The children's good behavior was noteworthy, which encourages us in this path of integration.

Once again, a large collection of toys was made for Children's Day, with the participation of the Marin School of San Isidro, the Taller de Nazareth school, the Cathedral Catechesis, CEF N° 54 and the faithful friends of MANÁ. The amount of toys collected was so large that after the Children's Day Festival, we were able to organize a fair for Christmas.

We remained anchored in our convictions of networking, public-private interaction, without senseless welfare, without press or publications on social networks, working quietly and side by side with MANÁ families. We are happy for the range of possibilities that are opening up for 2023. Trusting in Providence, we say goodbye to this year of intense work, happy for the achievements obtained.
